Went home to pick up some stuff, and disappeared. Truck abandonment

After he did multiple damages on the truck, he stop on the road without fuel and on top of this he abandoned the equipment after 5 days.

Home time for few days not answering the phone, after almost a week he returned the truck to the yard but the GPS and log book was disconnected so we cant track the truck

He was a referral from one of our drivers. We brought him in for training and was with us for only 3 days. Unsafe driving, HOS violation and not following safety standards.

Drove for us almost a month in May 2022. Unreliable and bad communication.

We hired this driver, on new years eve he called and said that he woke up with black eye, asking us to get camera recordings from truck, there was a bunch of guys fighting around the truck. We asked him to bring the truck back to the yard, he did come to the yard but then he decided to leave the yard again with truck, without permission. Basically stole the truck. We called the police and they catched him on truck stop. STAY AWAY!

We bought a ticket for this driver for 500$, (suppose to be lease driver), driver came, started to ask for food cash advance the same day. Got first load thru home in LA, and abandoned truck with a load in LA. And he told us that we are fired.

Pay attention and be careful, this driver is TOTAL LIER - Asked us for help with plane tickets ( 450 USD) wanted to start working as soon as possible, was communicative and appeared to be reliable... after the first load delivery we took another load and he after the pick up went home with the truck and the trailer and dropped there - simply informed dispatch that another driver would have to deliver his load and drive the truck back to the yard. Before that, he asked for cash advance for diesel because the gas station couldn't accept fuel cards -and it was all his lies ( 900 usd). The driver is a liar and a cheater, he caused a lot of losses to the company. Don't hire such an irresponsible and lying person if you don't want to get hurt. In Total company will have about 4000 USD losses.

This driver when called for the job stated there is no Violation , and send false employment application ,there is many Unsafe violations include 15mph over .

BEWARE! Based on our experience, this driver is a huge liability and risk! He has gotten us almost 4 freight guards because of refusing to talk to brokers, being rude at pickups, and got upset when we told him go empty to chicago, and he drove the truck home and stole all 18 tires and rims and swapped them out with old. We have a case pending against him. HE IS A SERIOUS LIABILITY AND IS UNSTABLE

Driver drove under the bridge height 13.3 with 13.6 trailer. He saw that he's not gonna fit under the bridge but still done this. He came back to the yard, dropped the truck and disappear.

ABANDONED EQUIPMENT TR & TRL !!!! DOESN'T SHOW UP FOR PICKUPS, LATE FOR APPOINTMENTS. STOPPED ANSWERING THE PH. NO CONTACT FOR SEVERAL DAYS BEFORE EQUIPMENT RECOVERING. REMOVED TRACKING DEVICE, STOLE TRUCK TIRES. JUST WASTE OF TIME AND MONEY ON HIM!!!

Michael was driving for us for about 10 days. This is my experience with him. He talks a lot, he text a lot as how he is the best driver and ecr, but in reality he doesn't listen to anything. He operates how he wants. He can't drive more than 400miles a day out of 10 days he one day he did over 500miles and other days he did 170miles to 300miles a day. Missed the delivery appointment. When he got loaded in MD was instructed to take I-64 highway but he replied (Any other state in this country I'd take your word on! I was born in West Virginia and spent most of my life there. Your 6 screens don't change 46 years of that state! Not being mean! I can take you dowb the wv turnpike and make you cry. Tell the other truck it's faster to hit 52 out of Huntington) please see the screenshot and he ended in the dead end gravel road on the mountain cliff with no way to turn around. He bent the aluminum rim, cut the tire, damaged the front of the trailer, and lost all 4 mudflaps. I asked him if he was ok with the split repair bill on rim and mud flaps, to which he replied "sure", but after he harassed me. Save your time and nerves. He rode with dog and after 10 days the interior of the truck was a mess, Needed to replace the mattress due to the smell and stains on it. I am attaching some screenshots of his conversation. He has real issues with anger.

Drives 15mph over the speed limit all the time. He's always right, never at fault for anything. Said he doesn't know how to drive slow. Constantly lost. Crashed into another trailer at 75mph. Do not hire.

Stay away from this driver. It's a classic scammer who asks for your trailer to start like an owner-operator, and then after a few days, he says he has a family emergency at home and has to leave for a short time (with the trailer). When he comes to Georgia he calls and blackmails the company asking them to send $1000 or he will leave the trailer at the place where it will be towed.

Beyond rude, presumptuous person, potentially mentally ill. Getting screamed at with terrible insults for literally no reason is not what you want. Friendly advice - stay away. Far, far away.

Do not trust this driver with your equipment. He left the equipment far away from our office!

Abandoned a truck in Texas.

Stole our truck, drove his own loads in PA on toll roads. Removed gps and kept delaying and promising that he is bringing truck back. We managed to find truck and repo, he wasn't planning to give it back and was hired as Cents per mile driver but had his own business ideas. Didnt care about police or any consequences... DO NOT GIVE HIM A TRUCK
