Old school with a ton of experience. Of course, that comes with all the bad habbits such an experienced driver may have picked up over the years. Gets the job done right. My dispatchers loved him at first. He was dishonest about his intentions and work habbits. From claiming he spends 2-3 weeks on the road to actually demanding to be home every other weekend. On maintenance and equipment operation, he knew better than everyone, so it was hard to give direction whenever it was needed. Constantly had an issue with the ELD and ran on paper without permission. Eventually, extended his home time under false pretence of a family emergency and stopped answering or returning calls and texts for two weeks, to find out this morning that he had emptied the truck and left keys behind. To top it off, he received $1500 advance loan right before disappearing.
