Driver is very likely that will abuse your equipment Late for deliveries Asking for cash advances every other day He will not take care of the equipment We paid the driver to recover his friend who abandoned another truck in Monroe LA and Aaron took the money went to his house spent a week waiting for his last paycheck to hit his bank and accepted another job somewhere else He abandoned two trucks at the same time NERVER will even consider him
Not a bad person in communication but definitely not a good driver. He can drive truck and nothing more: every single appointment missed, he has no clue how truck and trailer built (bad PTI=bad DOT inspection) and absolutely nothing about safety side of trucking. Stuck in a mud at the shipper facility and needed recovery, destroyed tractor tires list could be endless.
We gave him a chance but he ended up damaging trailer rim and axle and going empty from WY to IL (we paid for reloading commodity to another trailer and changed 3 tires on the trailer), after this he just fled with his stuff not saying anything to anybody.
Hire at your own risk.
DO NOT HIRE. This driver decided to abandon my truck in Texas, it would be great if he decided to abandon the truck at a truck stop, but decided to abandon the truck at his own house. On top of abandonment, he decided to drain all the fuel out of the tanks, so recovery of the truck was very difficult. Get rid of scumbags like this
driver was unpleasant and disrespectful at first impression, yawned and slept at the office at the time of singing the paperwork, was rude to the stuff asked for money right away. Took a load or two and left the loaded trailer in NM just emptied out stuff and left, not to mention sending some crazy messages like driver has been kidnapped from his own number.
anyway if you are trying to run a profitable business keep the truck empty rather then hiring this driver.
Talks right, drives whenever he wants. He would disappear for a day or two and then start driving like nothing happened. Last load he drove from IL to PA for 8 days and once we couldn't reach him from Friday to Tuesday and held his check he told us he couldn't drive because he didn't receive his money. He did bring the truck back to Illinois, but not the yard. Hire at your own risk.
Poor communication,it was impossible to keep in touch with the driver. All the time LATE for both pick ups and deliveries. Instead of picking up the load that he agreed for, disconnected his phone and drove 700 empty miles to our shop. No communication at all for his last 2 days in the company. Ops Manager was forced to involve the police to check on him plus we almost got reported and blacklisted in numerous brokerage companies due to his actions.
Do not hire!!!
Stuard is bipolar with an awful attitude.
Always late, he has no concept of following simple rules and directions.
The reefer broke on him and he drove 1600 miles with ornage light blinking that reefer is down without contacting anyone...
We gave him a second chance and he ended up stealing our truck, trailer and cargo!!
Beware he is extremely dangerous.
This driver left the truck in WA and made up story that his lawyer does not allow him to drive as he had some problems with his Green Card.
We had to recover truck from WA and we are from IL.
He also bagged for an advance saying he needs money for his rent and promised to get to work in 4 days and never did.
This guy stole someone's else trailer instead of picking up JB Hunt trailer from Target yard. So this incident resulted to our company basically bailing him out of jail for $6000.
Paid ticket by the company, went through whole process of hiring, got the good equipment. First he dragged trailer without releasing the brakes on the yard, then he decided he is not going to get loaded even he had 2 loads pre-booked. Then on Saturday he left the truck on a train station in Joliet downtown where trucks are prohibited. Avoid, he is not trustworthy.
Please be aware!!! Driver applied for a lease to own with us. While we were waiting for a pre employment drug test, we received note from our compliance provider that he needs to do a second test, this time observed, because there was a suspicion of a foul play. When we notified him that he has to do a second test (we did not mentioned anything about being observed or any suspicion) he literary RUN OFF FROM OUR OFFICE!! PLEASE BE ADVISED if he apply with you set up an observed test in advance.
