He is an ok guy when not drinking but he is a professional alcoholic. If you hire him you need to make sure he is not currently drinking and driving.

Do not ever waste your time with this driver! He came to IL at the end we found out that he has a problem with the Medical Card. So we decided to help him solve the problem but he wasn't cooperating at all. Very very arrogant behavior towards our team. Ill-mannered man. Very dramatic. He was complaining that he doesn't have money and at the end he caused a scene at the yard. He called himself an ambulance and told the police that he was very disorientated. He can bring you only problems. Please, stay away.

Driver applied to join company 4 times, first 3 times he did not pickup the calls or reply to text messages, after applying for the 4th time he got hired. Driver drove for 2 weeks, went home saying that his mother was sick, then said she died and he couldn’t driver because he had to attend the funeral even though it was a week from that date he refused to bring back the truck, after funeral said he said he was waiting on a will and so on. We ended up with a dropped truck and a negative balance. Do not waste time on this driver, not worth it.

The driver was blackmailing me while on the road to extort money. He would be unreachable for hours, causing being late on appointments. When he left, I rented a car for him to go home, he refused to return the car to rental company. Not trustworthy, involved in accident, twice. All during 4 months period. I had to have police involved to retrieve the rental car.

He abandoned our truck in FL we are based in IL

Purchased a flight ticket for him, had a drug test done. Never showed up. Spent our money and time. Stopped answering.

Abandoned federal gov load and left without the notice. Showed hard to work with and unresponsible. Stay away from this guy.

Drove empty truck home and ended up abandoning the truck. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Difficult driver to work with.

Mental issues!!! Stay away from him and his wife! First when we spoke with them and once they arrived at our yard, everything seemed fine, was polite. Everything changed once they got a truck. First they swear on our yard guy when he tried to help them out with straps and chains, we thought maybe they we're tired after long day, so we didin't pay attention. Same night they called afterhours and ask for cash adv, once they got negative respond, same behavior as with our yard guy. Next morning dispatcher called them to check what's going on, they told that everything is good, they were polite and kind with him and told that they ready for their next load. After 1 hour called to dispatcher, started to shout, swear and threaten him. Said that he refuses load, that dispatcher doesn't know what he's doing, that he's an owner op and we have to do what he says and that he's firing his dispatcher.. Then Mr. Daniel called to recruiter, told that he fired his dispatcher and he needs new one, because his dispatcher wasn't listening to him. Once we tried to deal with him polite and find best solution, he again started to shout, that we work for him, that we have to listen to him and do everything what he says, that he will book his own loads under our MC#, finally after 10min of straight insults, Mr. Daniel told that recruiter is done also and that he fires him as well. After that, manager tried to find solution for both parties, got agreed that they will bring back the truck, but instead of that, drove all night to get home and droped loaded trailer with truck at unsecured parking lot. Because of them, we ruined the relationship with brokers, lost a lot of money and time. Beware of them! Would not recommend to hire them.

The driver asked for fuel money from home FL to the terminal on November 09 2023 as of today 11/15/2023 never shown up and never received any reply. Be aware

hit and run

FIRED. WORKED A VERY SHORT TIME FOR US. Received a roadside inspection and was brought back to the office for another orientation. Driver cursed us out, treathened to kill us and said it will be bad when he comes to the office. He is not mentally stable - stay away and don't hire him if you don't want to experience anything like this.

We purchased the flight ticket, booked hotel for 2 nights, lunch and drug test... Cost over $600 and the driver just left without telling anything... Would never hire him again

First 10 miles and already got a speeding ticket..., he will ask for cash advance everyday. If you charge him for his mistakes, he will threat you by calling FMCSA and some other BS This is not a guy you want to give him a job.

Just left the equipment at the yard, bc he needed to take same rest over the weekend until Monday. On Monday after he didn't reply our calls and texts for several hours, fleet checked and the truck was cleaned out. No notice, no answer anything...

This guy is big liar and waste of time for every company. When you pull his PSP you will see that. Despite of that, we tried to give him another chance, decided to hire him, gave him all benefits and and booked flight for him to pick up the new KW T680. Guess what happened then? He said there is accident on the way to the airport, when we told him that we can reschedule the flight, he didn’t answer for few hours and then said they cut off his mobile phone because his bill wasn’t paid. After that we tried to reschedule flight again, but he lied about the confirmation number, said it can’t be changed and stuff like that. So, the result is that he costed us $600 for DT and flight ticket and just didn’t come to the airport. At the end of everything, he threatened to me and my colleague. Now I understand why he has that things on PSP and why companies avoid this guy. Also I am pretty sure he is using some drugs, he sounds like he is relly high, he probably cheated with drug test. My advice to all companies is STAY AWAY FROM HIM!

He didn't report a citation and warning. He got those two within 8 days. Irresponsible driver.

Do not recommend this guy at all! He just abandoned the truck without letting us know anything. Then stole fuel. Hire at your own risk

to old for trucks

I am writing regarding Mr. McKinley Douglas from Houston, TX, to inform that he is not a safe driver, rude, and shows aggressive behavior. Mr. Douglas had been employed with our company for 11 months, during which several issues came to our attention, such as arguing with dispatchers, being out of service, and breaks on the road. As of October 2, 2023, he was terminated from our company because he refused to take a load, he took a trip = 1500 miles from Logan, UT to Houston, TX (his home town) for personal reasons without obtaining approval from the dispatcher. Mr. Douglas also displayed aggressive behaviors toward company employees, made threatening comments towards employees, and threatened to damage company equipment (truck and trailer). We had to involve Law Enforcement to stop him on the road and escalate him out of the truck.

Abandoned the truck. He just sent a text that he is going home without any other explanation
