Here's a heads up about the driver we recently had on our team - Jean Baptiste Brecheneve. His performance was less than stellar. In fact, it was downright terrible.First of all, this driver has a habit of lying coooonstantly, incredibly poor communication skills. He doesn't answer his phone, and not just for a few days - we're talking weeks without any notice or explanation, not answering his dispatcher. This driver has a very aggressive attitude and thinks he can make decisions without consulting anyone else: dispatcher, owner, safety. He has proven to be reckless on the road, getting into multiple incidents, violations: seat belt, cell phone. He hit a parked truck and tried to deny it was his fault. On top of that, he drove the wrong way on more than one occasion and managed to get stuck in mud twice, refusing to take responsibility for the tow truck expenses. He was following too close and struck a car and the owner, who had disabilities, ended up getting cited.Abandoned our loaded truck and didn't bother returning it. Gets into fights all the time and threatens he is leaving the equipment on the shoulder, on the highway, and refuses to drive. To put it bluntly, this driver is rude and disrespectful.
I strongly recommend staying away from them if you value your time, money, and sanity.
