Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time and money on this guy. He was well aware of the terms and conditions before hired officially, and was interested, loved everything, wanted to start working right away, the only obstacle: no money for a plane ticket. Recruiting department convinced management to make an exception and buy him a ticket as he seemed very eager and willing to start ASAP. Well, that enthusiasm left him as soon as he landed. He started complaining just about everything and anything. When he came in for orientation: it is too long, he doesn’t need it, why does he need to sign a contract, safety team is making him do so much paperwork, why does he need to wait for drug test results…. Only to continue once he got to a truck: he doesn’t like the color, the interior is not as expected, he only drives brand new trucks, 2021 Freightliner Cascadia is not according to his standards, 2020 Mack is not acceptable either and he hates International trucks…. The only way he will start is if we provide a brand new truck with 0 miles, since we couldn’t accommodate this “reasonable” request, he took a bathroom break and never came back.
