the worst person in the book. We ended up not hiring him because he called me on Friday saying that he left his current company because they were not giving him enough miles, I went over everything with him and he agreed and said he wanted a job but he needs a hotel because he was supposedly in Chicago. He had a good MVR and PSP so i scheduled him to take a drug test, which he did the next day which was Saturday, and yeah not to mention that he wouldn't answer the phone he would always ask to text. So Monday comes around and the results for the drug test were in so I call him to let him know that we can have him come in for orientation but of course he doesn't answer but instead writes me a text to send him a letterhead explaining what position, the pay and what kind of truck he'll be driving so that he can send it to his "financial advisor" to review if the position is good for him. So I call him again and this time he picked up and I asked him what exactly he needs since I explained everything over the phone and he agreed to accept the position on Friday which is the reason why we even booked and PAID for his hotel stay, but instead he gets agitated and tells me that this is the right way and that everyone knows that there needs to be a written document for the position to be reviewed. So I told him how come he didn't mention anything on Friday before we booked him a hotel and paid for him to spend three nights and he responds by saying just email me the letterhead because he wouldn't be surprised that we were fraud company. WOW! yet he's the one that took our money for the drug test and the hotel stay. This guy doesn't deserve not even one star. He is a scammer and fraud

He drives about 300 miles a day and is in truck with his wife all the time. Most of the time he is late for deliveries but would always say he is not late because he sent us his ETA (which was later than the delivery appointment time). He demanded to be texted, not called, and always and only in CAPSLOCK. He was complaining about us not paying him everything we were supposed to. When we asked him to tell us or send exactly what is that we did not pay, he would not send it. He has some crazy ideas and he might be mentally ill. He would say some stories that he is very rich, has a yacht and drives truck only because he enjoy it so much, and then would ask us to pay $25 bill for breakfast for his wife and him and stated they did not eat for days. He also said he has many drivers from Ukraine military that have CDLs and come to US to work and he has control over them, that they listen to everything he says. You can google his name and his wife named Lady Olga and you can find them being involved in many scams. He can be very rude, yelling at dispatch, safety, accounting employees. He also said he has some accounts with US government and can get us loads paid $12-20 per mile if we give him a brand new Volvo. He tried to get us to invest money in some his accounts which nobody wanted to invest in. Had troubles bringing him back in Chicago to get the truck back but eventually he returned the truck, after maybe 2 weeks of denying loads to Chicago.

This guy keeps dodging calls and wants to text all the time. Was late for a drug test, demanding and rude, he wanted us to send him all the documents he has to fill out at orientation so he could review them with his legal advisor, which is understandable, but he was way too demanding. We reserved a Volvo for him, since he said he isn't going to come if there is no Volvo. He had high demands even before starting to work with us. Hire at your own risk.

Rude! Dodging calls only wants to text, he wanted us to send him everything all the documents he has to fill out at orientation so he could review them with a legal advisor, which is acceptable, but the way he demanded it, was out of question rude. He always had this attitude over the phone and he wasn't yet working for us. Dodged a bullet. Hire at your own risk.

Driver threatened to damage the truck, abandoned it without notice, and caused significant financial loss. Unprofessional and untrustworthy - not recommended for any position involving company property.

Shane Carabajal is an extremely unreliable driver who constantly makes threats to damage or set fire to the truck. His behavior is aggressive, unprofessional, and dangerous. Keeping him in your fleet poses a serious risk to your equipment, your company’s safety, and your clients. Do not hire or work with this individual under any circumstances.

    Trucking PHILADELPHIA

We employed this driver for nearly three months without incident. At his request, we permitted him to take the truck home in order to spend time with his family. However, without any prior notice, he abandoned the truck in his yard, refused to return the keys, and caused damage to the trailer by striking a gas station pole. His actions demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and responsibility. Based on this experience, we cannot in good faith recommend him for any driving position, due to that your truck might be dropped at any given time. DO NOT and I will repeat myself, DO NOT employ this driver.

ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED! Went through all the hiring process, everything was fine, even waited one month for this driver to come. Once the hiring day came, we booked him a flight, he missed it, but still came and then he told me that someone else picked him up and he started the hiring process with another company. Not reliable and unprofessional - not recommended! AVOID!

Stay away from this driver. He handled only 3 loads and already caused 2 major damages. Our company suffered significant financial losses. Completely irresponsible – not worth the risk.

We went through the entire hiring process with this candidate - interviews, background checks - all completed successfully. He confirmed his availability and start date multiple times. However, on the very day he was scheduled to begin work, he informed us that he had accepted another offer.

This level of unprofessionalism is extremely disappointing. It shows a complete disregard for the time, effort, and resources we invested in bringing him onboard. Backing out at the last minute not only disrupted our operations but also reflects poorly on his reliability and integrity. If you're seeking a dependable driver who honors commitments, we strongly advise looking elsewhere.

This driver completely wasted our time. He agreed to start the hiring process and claimed he was going to complete the drug test multiple times—but kept lying about it. First, he said he was on the way, then delayed again, only to finally say he wasn’t interested anymore because he already had another job.

Not dependable. Not honest. Avoid at all costs if you value reliability and straightforward communication.

This driver is a complete waste of time. He doesn’t respond to messages, doesn’t communicate, and most importantly, doesn’t complete his DT. If you’re depending on someone reliable, this is not the person.

Zero professionalism, zero accountability. Just disappears without explanation. I’ve never dealt with someone so careless and unbothered. Save yourself the frustration and choose someone who actually respects your time and follows through.
