DO NOT HIRE. He will not benefit you in any way. Always screws up his 10 hr break so that he cannot run any loads. Ripped omnitracs device out of socket so we cannot track him. Told to go to the yard for ELD replacement then stopped answering his phone for 3 days. Finally, got to the yard without the trailer and with the truck sleeper damaged like he hit a low branch. Wouldn't say where the trailer is so that we won't fire him but we fired him anyways. Received a call 4 weeks later stating that the trailer was being stored at a tow yard and that it would be $4,200 in storage and towing fees before the trailer is released. Paid the money and picked up the trailer only to find that the trailer has severe damage from hitting something as well. $6,500 repair estimate on trailer. $1,750 repair estimate on truck plus the 4200 for getting the trailer out of the tow yard. Employed for two and a half months and caused over 12K in damage. HIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK.... I wouldn't rehire him if he offered to leave 5k in escrow.
