At first, seems very nice.Later-have to choose every word, snaps right away.Disappears for days with load, disconnects log device(says that its malfunction) and drives. All kinds of excuses:was sick, forgot phone, etc.Sometimes acts very strange.Worked for 2 months, had to fire him.
This driver is just a OTR trouble. Hold it truck hostage, refused to provide BOL and finally abandoned a truck. Worst driver ever !!!! Stay away from him
He talks up a great story, but has no patience and left T&T at office due to a lack of patience, after a short 1 day orientation and possession of T&T was not willing to wait 24 hours to be dispatched
Horrible experience with this driver, asking for unnecessary repairs at the shops that he knows and the is asking for money to pay the repairs and after that drop the truck in a service plaza in Chicago, stay away from this scammer
Safety violations documented on samsara videos
no seat belt and texting while driving
Missed delivery on 2/18 and failure to communicate to the dispatcher
Driver was not returning calls for 5 hours while late for the pickup and no acceptable reason provided to explain his behaviour
In the exit interview driver was presented with video recording, the driver was not confrontational, and we are separating on a good terms
The driver was passed drug screening, completed applications, seemed a professional and respectful driver from the first view. Shortly after he started it was determined that he is a compulsive liar. A very slick and deceptive person will try to show himself as a victim but will give you 100 different stories. Very lazy driver and will give you numerous excuses not to leave to work. When asked to return the equipment back to the terminal., refused to do that. Had to involve police that explained truck abandonment charges for not returned company equipment. Stay away. 100% will waste your time and money with this driver. Definitely not eligible for rehire. STAY AWAY
Liar, liar and again liar, after 1st paycheck , he abandoned a loaded truck with $300k worth of cargo on it, said cops pulled him over at the pilot, I asked for report , he said bad service in Des Moines, IA, never sent one. He can't do more than 2500 miles per week.... stay away from him.
Drove for us for 1 week, did not follow any logbook rules, and returned the truck completely trashed and disgusting.
Was late to his appointments, no communication at all.
Driver dropped his trailer at a receiver and went on a rampage doing massive damage to the inside of the truck, tried to sell items out of our truck at a pawn shop (we have a letter from them), found out using a shelter as an address and our vehicle was impounded at a VA hospital. He needs help.
This driver is a rate shopper. He came to our company after he was terminated from his previous company. We paid for a drug test and hotel. The next day he took the truck to our shop to have maintenance done. This is when he tried to strong arm our company into paying him $.65 per mile. The next day he ordered an Uber and abandoned the truck. Please don't waste your time with this individual.
Be careful with this driver. He is always short on money and ask for advance pay. Work for me about 7 months. He played me with a story that he is going to funeral, then blamed Covid for 2 weeks delay on the funeral, then finally came back , but with high blood pressure and then he got "Covid - 19 ". Make sure you keep at least 2 weeks of his pay check to cover your expenses. Now I have to send driver in Houston to recover whatever is left from my equipment.
Worked for almost a year, first 5-6 months was ok driver.
3 accidents in the last 4 months, 2 of them were preventable.
2 DOT inspections in the last few weeks, 15 violations total.
He is a very nice person, he can deliver on time 1,000 miles in one day but problem is he does not want to maintain his truck and secure his loads properly,
I had to let him go.
Too much to say.
Basically His looking for place to live with his family, keep refusing loads when his under dispatch, late pick up and delivery, calling brokers using company MC to get loads, delivering 1 load per week didn’t even cover expenses and ask for cash advance, Always tired after finishing delivery and he need 1 day rest, Bad attitude.
worked for us for 10days,then one day called and made up a story that his knee hurts and needs to go to Florida to rest ,then asked for $300 cash advance ,then called few days later from Florida asking for more $$,then this past Monday Aug the 17th called again asking for cash advance and that he ''will be returning to work soon' this driver is a total liar and a hasstle to work with
