  1. We have a three-strike rule. After three violations, we sit down with the driver to review their performance. If it continues, we terminate.
  2. It definitely added another layer of complexity. We’ve had to slow down the process while we wait for results, which can be frustrating when we’re short on drivers.
  3. Unfortunately, yes. We had to request a second test for verification, and the employee was on unpaid leave until it was resolved.
  4. We’ve been using Foley, and it’s been pretty reliable. The interface is a bit clunky, but they offer good customer service.
  5. We do it annually, as required by FMCSA, but we’ve started checking quarterly for higher-risk drivers.
