Two months in he started causing all kinds of issues with everyone. Started giving everyone attitude and then demanded a bonus for dealing with "everything." Tried extorting the company for a "big bonus" hinting that he is not the type of driver to leave the truck somewhere, but we had to give him a bonus to show appreciation. Was too lazy to clean the trailer and kept getting loads rejected. Does not know or does not care to use the ELD. When we fired him, he refused to surrender the key to the truck. He also broke our ELD tablet and refused to give us the charger for the GPS.
After 2 weeks of home time Off Duty, he picked up the load, was angry because they didn't load him properly and he was over weighted on axle, didn't want to wait. Took the truck back to parking, abandoned truck with loaded trailer on Florida(1200 miles away from our company home terminal)
Worked for me for two weeks. Abandoned truck and trailer at two different locations. Stole microwave, inverter, refrigerator. I am tired of filling out previous employment verification. I am not kidding, I filled out more than 50 of them. Watch out for this guy. Difficult to work with as well.
Checked his records. They were not perfect, but acceptable. Bought a flight ticket. When called to double check if he is ready for flight he didn't respond. Cancelled the flight ticket. Didn't have any feedback from him.
This driver looked good and orderly during hiring, but during the FIRST load his true side showed up. Turns out he has a very short temper-during his first delivery the receiver was making him move the truck to a different dock and he REFUSED and claimed they were being disrespectful to him (by making him move the truck)! So he left out of the receiver LOADED, telling us he is bringing the truck back to the terminal and then stopped communicating. We had to get police involved because we didn't know where he actually is going and what happened. After police involvement he got back to the receiver to deliver because he only managed to communicate with police and receiver because they had to baby him into going back, being extra nice, and then still did not communicate with us and just dropped the truck off and left. He was employed only a couple days. Be careful, guy with too much ego. *UPDATE* after all of this- HE managed to take us up in court and tried to claim extra money! SO MUCH TROUBLES FOR 2-3 DAYS OF EMPLOYMENT!
Misuse of company equipment, disconnected eld after being told to stop in Dallas, Texas and drove all the way to Birmingham, AL. We sent the local pd to talk to him, claimed he was told to bobtail to Alabama by dispatch, which never happened. Also, possible drug related issues based on his history.
The driver does not work in one company for a long time, every time changes different company . He was working for our company for only a couple of weeks. He broke down the truck and he drained gasoline. And he didn't return the truck to our yard, he left it in a different place and he quit. Also he was very rude to the employees.
Worked with this guy a couple of months ago, he wanted a fast truck, good pay tickets to the yard. Went for the drug test from the third try, afterward disappeared and came back a month after, the same story all over again, waste of time and energy.
In the end, he did not go on the flight.
With this driver I just wanted to point out the fact that this website is not only about talking shit about retarded drivers but also about good drivers and people in general.
For example this guy. Unfortunately we never hired him, but he is one the nicest and sensible drivers I ever talked to. Nice to know that such people still exist.
Problems started from the first week of his employment. From all understanding driver became to a worst person to sit by a wheel. Took truck hostage with a load. Non responsive to anyone who is trying to reach. Do not hire.
Since the day one driver was a real trouble maker, excuses not to drive. In one week he dropped truck and trailer in the middle of nowhere, no respond and truck was a mess, we do not recommend to hire this driver!
Good driver, drives a lot, but doesn't care about safety and driving rules. Was caught driving more than 11 hours per day, also lies and provides phantastic stories why he got OOS. Ruined our safety score and lastly abandoned truck.
Watch out for the dad, George William Knott is nothing short of a headache. Taylor seemed fine, but the people in his corner are very negative and picky.
Abandoned truck in Jacksnville,Fl.Asked for money otherwise he would not tel us where the truck is.We had a GPS and got it repossessed .He had woman co driver that is totally crazy and was threatening to quotte "fu*k up your truck"
