Book driver a flight to IL for almost $300 from TX.
Once asked him if he landed in IL he responded that he went to the wrong airport and didn't make it to the flight. Didn't even bother to tell that he will not be on the flight.
Waist of time and money
This driver likes to sleep a lot and 100 phone calls wouldn't wake him up and that's on every load if you have early delivery or tight schedule where he needs to wake up early to drive to make a delivery you have yourself a problem.
Too bad we did not see this before hiring him, asked for two day off while being in the truck, went for a pick up afterwards and after the pick up got pulled over, got a DUI for our company and did not inform nobody, afterwards got a call from police saying they have the truck, sent someone to recover the truck, when driver arrived there Nelson also tinted the truck all around like limo black.
Did one load, picked up second, truck broke down we payed for his hotel and everything, Daniel just ghosted us, abandoned the truck in Cleveland OH.
DO NOT HIRE
Came in to the office to get a new truck and ended up complaining about our escrow policy, got into a verbal fight with the owner and had the cops called because he refused to leave, he left before they showed up
Driver is unreliable, late for deliveries, doesn't follow company policy, damaged the equipment and kept it hostage in MS. Had to send in another driver to find the equipment. Do not Hire him!!!
Stay away from this guy. We gave him a brand new truck, which he drove for 2 weeks. He asked to go home for the weekend. When he was supposed to get back on the road, he told us that he will have to go under a surgery for his hemorrhoids. So he stayed home for 2 more weeks. Then he told us that he was ready to go and gave us a run around for 3 days. We had to book and cancel 2 loads per day for 3 days. At the end he sent a message where the truck was and that he was not coming back. After this message, he blocked our phone numbers and never answered again. We had to recover the truck from Farmersville, TX
The driver is extremely arrogant. If he doesn't get what he wants starts yelling at you and threatens that he is going to start with another company. Very bad experience. Never hired.
Completely blew us off. We had so many drivers interested in coming for an orientation, and we saved him a spot. Lost money on the hotel and lost time. He couldn't even call us and let us know he changed his mind. Not professional.
QUIT WITHOUT NOTICE, DRIVER WAS SENT TO PU A TRUCK COMPANY BOUGHT PLANE TICKET AND WE TOOK DRIVER TO THE AIRPORT AND HE DECIDED NOT TO TAKE THE PLANE AND WENT HOME. ALSO TOOK THE TRUCK'S KEY WITH HIM
Very unreliable, booked flight & drug test to get him on board. Spent over $400 on getting driver to Orientation & he missed the flight & drug test. I told him on Friday he can reach me over the weekend on my personal number & said everything was perfect on the Friday, so I went ahead & booked everything. Monday 20 minutes before his flight he tells me that he's going to look for another opportunity. Worst driver I have ever worked with, no communication skills & definitely is not eligible for rehire.
DRIVER VERIFIED HE WAS COMING AND VERIFIED HE HAD HIS FLIGHT INFORMATION THEN NEVER GOT ONTO THE FLIGHT, DID NOT ANSWER MY CALLS AND THEN TEXTED ME THAT HE WAS NOT COMING.
I will be short this driver is liar, irresponsible, cheap, rude. Lease new equipment and think he doesn’t need to change the tires and breaks when is necessary. Got 7 violations and ruined our score
Never showed up for the first drug test. Called back a week later, agreed to do the drug test. He was negative, scheduled the plane ticket. On that day never answered the phone again. Avoid this driver.
The guy first lied on job application that he didn't have any accidents, found out he had two. On the very first load after 500 miles he hit concrete wall when he tried to enter the Interstate. Just didn't take turn wide enough. After towing and roadside service he had hundred of excuses and just abandoned the truck and went home to KS. Stay away to save your equipment.
