Driver accepted our offer, called us back demanding .70 cpm saying he was a great driver (he had 1 year experience). Arrived to the Office and seen 3 brand new Freightliner Cascadias, requested new truck. We advised the trucks was not ready and we give new trucks to seniority drivers. Driver was put into a nicely maintained 2019 Freightliner. Within a few days driver called saying there was bed bugs in the truck. We never had this issue before and immediately had the truck HEAT TREATED, within a few days driver called back saying the bed bugs was back. The driver went home and we had a service heat treat the truck for an entire weekend. Amazingly the bugs was back! We ended up putting the driver into a BRAND NEW NEVER DRIVEN Freightliner Cascadia. Again a few days later, Taylor called complaining about miles, he was advised we use PC MILER to calculate miles and all empty miles was included at the same rate. Driver was a problem from the beginning; HE THOUGHT WE WORKED FOR HIM and his attitude changed. He ended up abandoning the truck and trailer in Billings, MT. and further refused to turn over the keys, truck paperwork and customers paperwork such as bol's, pod's etc.........if you don't want problems or threats against the company and yourself. don't hire this waste of time. YOU MIGHT END UP WORKING FOR HIM!
