He is a driver who loves speeding, his last harsh braking shifted the load and damaged our brand new trailer. He was ensuring us that is nothing to worry about, he went home for a week and texted us that he deadhead from Indianapolis to Chicago to dropped our equipment on the terminal. His explanation was that got approved to lease new Freightliner Cascadia 2023 and is on his way to AZ to pick it up. We found our brand new trailer with nearly $9k damages on it, he managed to damage brand new rim and brand new tire too. There were $2k+ damages on the truck, the truck hood was not functioning too. This particular driver was requesting to go home every week, and once his dispatcher was not able to get him to deliver near his home so he decided to deadhead 300-400miles without authorization. So hiring him will just complicate your business, avoid!
