Short answer: this guy will tell you whatever you want to hear just to get money and will abandon the truck. Long story: On his first load near delivery the truck had an air leak, he delivered then we took truck to the shop. We fixed 1 thing, then it still had air leak, we fixed 2nd one and truck was ready to go. He said that he is tired waiting for truck to be fixed so he will take off for the day to go eat, take a shower and rest. We pay for each day spent in shop, so he gets paid for this days. Next day he says the truck still has an air leak because it goes from 125 PSI down to 100 PSI and then back. He refuses to go back to that shop because they are a small shop... He refused to take a load back to Chicago because "its not safe", then accepted a load and didn't go to PU and not answering all day. Next day he saw that he didn't get paid and appeared, apologizing that he didn't answer, said that he was very tired and hungry, but now he rested and is ready to do what is needed to fix the truck, get a load and work, just pay him... After payment disappeared again. So just a waste of time and money with this guy, can't be trusted at all.
