Late on EVERY SINGLE LOAD for 6 months. Goes home and magically has 2 or 3 bad tires right as he's dispatched a load to leave. Dispatched to terminal to discuss performance issues and he abandoned the truck and loaded trailer in a U-Haul parking lot 550 miles from terminal and 400 miles from receiver. No phone call, no response to texts. Just sent a voice memo to his dispatcher letting him know that he left the truck and trailer because he felt like he was dispatched to the yard to be fired. Update: Driver is now calling and threatening payroll that if he doesn't get paid all his money he will call the DOT and report us for "telling him to use PC". He was sent a settlement detailing the cost of equipment recovery and freight delivery which shows he now owes us money but he says that it's not his responsibility. Total nightmare. Good thing it was a large brokerage and they weren't able to leave a freightguard report like they threatened to do.
